PGT Biology (faculty)

Job Summary:

The PGT Biology (NEET/JEE) teacher will be responsible for teaching Biology to Classes XI and XII with a focus on NEET and JEE syllabus. The role involves conceptual teaching, test preparation, doubt resolution, and academic mentoring to ensure students excel in board exams and competitive entrance tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology to Classes XI and XII in alignment with CBSE curriculum and NEET/JEE standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, and assignments to strengthen conceptual clarity.
• Conduct regular mock tests, doubt-clearing sessions, and result analysis for continuous improvement.
• Guide students on exam strategies, time management, and revision techniques for competitive exams.
• Maintain academic records, student progress reports, and performance data.
• Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum planning and question paper setting.
• Encourage scientific thinking, experimentation, and research-oriented learning.
• Integrate digital tools and simulations for better understanding of biological concepts.
• Ensure discipline, motivation, and enthusiasm in classroom interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Biology / Zoology / Botany (with at least 50% marks).
• B.Ed. mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching Biology at the senior secondary level or in NEET/JEE coaching.
• Strong subject knowledge and clarity of NEET/JEE patterns and marking schemes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with smart classroom tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record of producing NEET/JEE qualifiers.
• Experience in test-series planning and paper analysis.
• Ability to simplify complex biological processes for easy understanding.
• Passionate about mentoring and motivating students to achieve academic excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
