We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance and Reliability Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, automation, and optimization to ensure our applications perform efficiently and reliably in production environments. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth deployment and post-deployment performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Testing: Conduct comprehensive performance and reliability testing to assess the scalability and stability of applications under varying load conditions.

2. Automation Script Development: Develop automated performance testing scripts using languages such as Java, Python, or other relevant scripting tools.

3. Stress and Load Testing: Execute stress and load testing to identify potential performance bottlenecks, and optimize system performance accordingly.

4. Post-Deployment Monitoring: Monitor application performance post-deployment in live environments, identifying any potential performance issues or degradation.

5. Tool Expertise: Utilize performance monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus to track and report performance metrics effectively.

6. Performance Analysis: Analyze the results from performance tests and identify areas for optimization to enhance application speed, stability, and resource utilization.

7. Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis to identify the source of performance issues, providing recommendations for effective resolution.

8. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed performance testing documentation, including test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test reports to track progress and provide clear insights.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years experience in performance and reliability testing.

2.Experience in test automation using Java, Python, or other platforms/tools.

3. Ability to design, test, and debug test automation.

4. Healthcare domain knowledge, particularly with HL7 data, is a plus.

5. Capability to work as an individual contributor.

6. Proficiency in developing automated performance testing scripts using scripting languages such as Java, Python or any other language.

7. Experience in conducting stress and load to identify performance bottlenecks.

8. Ability to monitor application performance post-deployment in environments

9. Monitoring tools Knowledge such as Grafana, Prometheus.

10. Analysed the performance results to identify potential areas for optimisation.

11. Expertise in performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance issues.

12. Experience in creating and maintaining performance testing documentation, including test plans, test scenarios, test scripts and test reports

13. Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
