Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and data-driven Marketplace Ads Specialist to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing advertising campaigns on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Tata Cliq, Blinkit, Zepto and others. This role requires a strong understanding of digital advertising, analytical skills, and the ability to drive sales and ROI through effective ad management. 1. Ad Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and manage advertising campaigns across multiple online marketplaces. Create and optimize PPC (Pay-Per-Click) campaigns to maximize product visibility and sales. Monitor ad budgets, bids, and keyword performance to ensure efficient use of resources. 2. Keyword Research and Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing and relevant keywords. Optimize ad copy and targeting parameters to improve ad relevance and performance. Continuously refine keyword lists based on performance data and market trends. 3. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversion rates, ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales), and ROI. Generate regular reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make strategic adjustments to campaigns. 4. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor advertising strategies and performance. Identify and leverage opportunities to outperform competitors through strategic bidding and targeting. 5. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, headlines, and keywords to identify the most effective combinations. Implement findings from tests to continuously improve ad performance. 6. Budget Management: Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively across different campaigns and marketplaces. Ensure that spending aligns with overall marketing goals and delivers a positive ROI. 7. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with product listing specialists, marketing teams, and sales teams to ensure cohesive advertising strategies. Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed. 8. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in digital advertising and marketplace trends. Adapt strategies to leverage new tools, features, and marketplace updates. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Proficiency with marketplace advertising platforms (e.g., Amazon Advertising). Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions. Excellent understanding of PPC, SEO, and keyword optimization techniques. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Advertising Console, etc). Familiarity with bid management tools and software. Knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools for ad creative development.
