Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator located in Gondal. As a CNC/VMC Machine Operator, your role involves operating and maintaining CNC/VMC machines. You should be able to perform basic machine operations based on blueprints, drawings, and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Understand process improvement, component identification, material identification, and inventory awareness. - Reduce lead times by following Preset & Set-up processes. - Set-up, operate, and maintain drill press and turret lathe. - Set-up, operate, and maintain one or more CNC machines. - Work from production orders to perform designated operations. - Maintain acceptable quality and quantity levels. - Assist with bar stock put away, cut bar stock materials, clean parts, separate and maintain waste chips & daily scrap levels. - Process all necessary adjustments to machines, including Offset Wear & Geometry. - Maintain coolant levels and oil levels on all machines. - Follow work orders, blueprints, and standard instructions during machine set-up. - Change collets, tool inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders. - Perform basic level maintenance on machines as directed. - Enter programs for pre-programmed parts. - Eliminate non-value-added activities. - Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety procedures. - Perform any other duties as assigned.
