Work Type: Contract

Proven experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing.
Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS/CWE, and common vulnerability patterns. Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, and Kali Linux frameworks. Ability to simulate real-world attack scenarios, including web app, API, authentication, and access control attacks. Experience with secure coding practices and reviewing mitigation strategies with development teams. Role Summary We require an experienced Penetration Testing Analyst on a contract basis to conduct a full-scope penetration testing exercise on our application ecosystem. The analyst will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, testing application and infrastructure security controls, and providing actionable insights to strengthen our security posture. Key Responsibilities Conduct end-to-end penetration testing across our application, APIs, backend services, and associated infrastructure. Perform vulnerability assessments, exploit verification, configuration reviews, and security control testing. Identify, document, and prioritize security weaknesses with clear remediation guidance. Work closely with our engineering and IT teams to clarify findings and validate fixes. Provide a detailed final report summarizing methodology, findings, severity levels, and recommended remediations. Ensure that testing activities follow industry standards such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and relevant best practices. Expected Deliverables Detailed penetration test plan and scope document Weekly status updates Vulnerability assessment report with reproducible evidence Final penetration testing report with remediation recommendations Retest validation after fixes (if included)
