Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PDF Accessibility and XML and E-Pub Specialist, located in Chengalpattu. The specialist will be responsible for creating accessible PDF documents, managing XML data conversion processes, and ensuring the accurate transformation of content into ePub and other digital formats. Daily tasks include performing document formatting, troubleshooting accessibility features, ensuring compliance with accessibility regulations, managing and manipulating XML structures, and assisting with content publishing.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PDF accessibility standards, tagging, and remediation
Experience with XML data conversion processes and understanding of XML schema and DTD
Knowledge of ePub creation, content formatting, and working with digital publishing standards
Strong skills in quality assurance, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to accessibility and document conversion
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with accessibility and industry standards
Experience with related tools for document tagging, accessibility checks, and XML/ePub conversion
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred
