Job Description

The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement. This role involves coordination with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee data and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time
Maintain and update employee records including new joiners, exits, promotions, and salary revisions
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other payroll-related regulations
Generate payslips and handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, tax, etc.
Reconcile payroll data with finance/accounts team for disbursement
Coordinate with external payroll vendors (if any)
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
Assist in audits related to payroll and statutory compliance
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and tax regulations affecting payroll

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field
2+ years of experience in payroll processing
Good understanding of payroll software
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax)
Proficiency in MS Excel and data handling
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred:

Experience in handling payroll for multi-state employees
Knowledge of HRMS or ERP systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
