Payment Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for identifying, screening, and coordinating with local payment gateways, acquiring banks, banks, and third-party payment companies in India. Based on the company's business needs, establish cooperation channels.

2. Collect, organize, and verify the company's information, KYC documents, and account opening materials required by the payment institutions, and assist in completing the account opening process.

3. As the main contact person for the Indian region, responsible for communicating business cooperation with local payment service providers, promoting cooperation negotiations and implementation.

4. Assist the company in completing the entire process of account opening, submitting documents, and follow-up on approval for the payment gateways.

5. Collaborate with the technical team to promote API integration, application environment application, and pre-launch preparations and other technical processes.

6. Track payment performance (success rate, failure rate, rate, settlement cycle, etc.) and propose optimization suggestions.

7. Write payment channel comparison analysis, cooperation plans, and market research reports to provide support for the payment strategy in the Indian market.

8. Continuously monitor local payment industry regulations, UPI, e-commerce payment, NetBanking, card payment, and other local payment trends.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidates with relevant experience in payment gateways, banks, FinTech, PSP are preferred.

2. Familiar with the account opening process of payment companies, required documents, KYC/AML requirements and compliance standards.

3. Possess excellent skills in information collection, resource expansion and business communication, and be able to independently search for local payment partners.

4. Capable of collaborating across teams with business, technical, product, and operation personnel to advance projects.

5. High data sensitivity, able to analyze payment data and provide optimization solutions.

6. Preferred for those with experience managing payment gateways or aggregators such as Cashfree / Airpay / Easebuzz / Bulkpe / Zwitch.

7. Preferred for those with experience in API, payment channels, settlement, payout, payin, UPI, etc. with banks like ICICI / Axis / HDFC / Yes Bank.

8. Preferred for those who have held positions such as technology, risk control, compliance, operations, or executive in banks or payment institutions.
