Role Summary: The Accounts Payable Head is responsible for overseeing the payablesfunction, ensuring accurate documentation, timely payments, vendorreconciliation, and compliance with company policies and regulatoryrequirements. This role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills,and expertise in accounts payable processes. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Reconciliation & Ledger Management: Ensure all vendor accounts are regularly reconciled. Maintain updated and accurate ledgers for payables. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all transactions. Invoice Processing & Payments: Oversee the invoice verification, approval, and payment process. Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. Coordinate with procurement and internal teams for invoice approvals. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations. Implement internal controls to mitigate risks related to accounts payable. Handle audits and ensure accurate reporting for compliance purposes. Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and mentor the accounts payable team to ensure high performance. Coordinate with finance, procurement, and other stakeholders. Provide training and updates on regulatory and process changes. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial controls. Expertise in reconciliation, invoice processing, and vendor management. Proficiency in ERP and accounting software. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
