Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at INDUS Cruise Line, with 5-8 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts for guests.
Develop new recipes and menus to keep up with current trends and customer preferences.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene in the kitchen environment.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
