Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at INDUS Cruise Line, with 5-8 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for guests.
Develop new recipes and menus to keep up with current trends and customer preferences.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
