Job Description

We are launching a new Caf with all day dining based in Yelahanka, Bangalore. We have the mission to bring authentic bread culture and delicious vegetarian continental food to our country.

100% eggless bakery division

Role Overview:

As the Pastry Chef, you will manage all aspects of our eggless bakery, including recipe development, daily production, finishing, and quality control. You'll create innovative egg-free pastries, desserts, and baked goods that align with our continental caf identity while maintaining consistency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a creative menu of

    eggless pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods

  • Lead and guide the bakery team in daily production and finishing
  • Ensure top-notch quality in texture, flavor, presentation, and freshness
  • Innovate seasonal specials and caf-friendly eggless offerings
  • Oversee recipe testing, standardization, and consistent batch production
  • Manage inventory, ingredient procurement, and vendor coordination
  • Control food costs and optimize production schedules
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Train and upskill bakery staff in eggless baking techniques

Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts or relevant professional training
  • 35+ years of experience in a professional bakery, patisserie, or caf
  • Hands-on expertise in eggless baking techniques

    (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of breads, Viennoiserie-style items, desserts, and caf baked goods
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate within an egg-free framework
  • Ability to lead a team and manage production at scale
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Passion for vegetarian baking, clean flavors, and modern dessert trends
