Recently, in November 2022, the company secured India s largest Series A SaaS funding with a whopping $57million from WestBridge Capital About Role: The Partnership Head is primarily responsible for managing and directing all partnership operations within the Indian geography. This role involves formulating and executing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring the development and optimization of partnerships across the region. The Partnership Head will oversee the identification of strategic partners, guide relationship management, and direct efforts to expand market reach, ensuring growth and profitability within India. By leveraging local market insights and fostering strong, impactful partnerships, the Partnership Head plays a pivotal role in driving the companys success in this key geography Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership Development: Design and execute partnership strategies that align with business goals, driving revenue, and expanding our market presence. End-to-End Partner Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of partnerships, from identification and negotiation to implementation and ongoing relationship management. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing partnership team, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative environment. Target Setting & Achievement: Define key partnership objectives and set measurable targets. Monitor team performance to ensure targets are met and exceeded. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment between partnership strategies and overall business objectives. Partner Performance Monitoring: Regularly track partner performance and health, implementing strategies to optimize engagement and ensure mutual success. New Partner Acquisition & Growth: Identify and onboard new strategic partners, expanding our portfolio and driving additional revenue streams. Contract Negotiations & Agreements: Lead the negotiation of contracts and terms with partners to secure favorable and mutually beneficial agreements. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities, applying insights to enhance partnership efforts. Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on partnership performance, key results, and new opportunities. Key Requirements: Experience: 6+ years of experience in partnership management, preferably within the SaaS sector. SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of SaaS business models, products, and services, with the ability to leverage this knowledge for partner success. End-to-End Experience: Proven track record of managing partnerships at every stage from acquisition to execution and ongoing management. Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and coach a team, with a focus on achieving both individual and team objectives. Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen and the ability to develop long-term, sustainable partnership strategies. Goal-Oriented: Comfort with setting ambitious targets and driving performance to meet them. Excellent Communication: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with partners and internal teams.
