Job Description: Advanced Mathematics Teacher (UPSC / MPPSC / SSC) Position: Advanced Mathematics Faculty Specialization: Competitive Exams (UPSC, MPPSC, SSC) Secondary Expertise: General Studies Location: ——— Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract (as applicable) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Mathematics Teacher with a strong background in competitive exam preparation, including UPSC, MPPSC, and SSC . The ideal candidate should possess in-depth conceptual clarity, proven teaching methodology, and the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for aspirants. Additional proficiency in General Studies will be considered a major advantage, enabling holistic guidance for students preparing for government examinations. Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Content Delivery Teach Advanced Mathematics , covering Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Advanced Data Interpretation, Probability, and Statistics as per UPSC/MPPSC/SSC standards. Develop clear, exam-oriented explanations and shortcuts/tricks tailored to specific competitive exams. Conduct live and offline sessions with structured lesson plans, interactive pedagogy, and regular doubt-clearing. Content Development Prepare high-quality notes, practice sheets, mock papers, and exam-level questions. Update study material according to the latest exam patterns and trends. Assist in creating General Studies notes if required (Polity, History, Geography, Economy, Current Affairs basics). Student Engagement Mentor students individually and in groups to strengthen conceptual understanding. Analyze student performance through tests and provide feedback for improvement. Help build exam strategies, time management techniques, and problem-solving approaches. General Studies Support Teach foundational concepts of GS subjects when needed, especially for SSC CGL, MPPSC Prelims, and basic UPSC topics. Participate in integrated classes where Mathematics and GS overlap (Data-driven questions, map-based analysis, etc.). Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics / Engineering / Applied Mathematics (preferred). 3+ years of teaching experience in competitive exams such as UPSC, MPPSC, SSC, or other state-level exams. Strong command over quantitative aptitude and advanced mathematical reasoning. Ability to break down complex topics into easy, understandable segments. Familiarity with exam trends, PYQs, and shortcuts commonly used in competitive exams. Good communication skills and confident classroom presence. Ability to handle both Mathematics and foundational General Studies teaching. Preferred Qualities Experience in coaching institutes or online learning platforms. Ability to integrate real-life examples, diagrams, and analytical methods in teaching. Passion for mentoring aspirants and guiding them through the exam process.
