Part Time Computer Vision Engineer (Edge Device Deployment)

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Computer Vision Engineer to support the deployment of advanced AI solutions on edge devices . The role involves real-time anomaly detection (weapons, fire, theft and aggressive behaviors) using feeds from IP cameras, tailored for secure and responsive environments such as retail , banking or public safety. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Implement AI-enabled real-time detection of anomalies, weapons, fire, and behavioral patterns Deploy computer vision models on edge devices based on the number of IP cameras at the site Assist in planning and selecting the appropriate edge hardware for each deployment Participate in client review sessions to discuss deployment strategies and performance Perform hands-on deployment and testing of solutions on-site or remotely as required ✅ Qualifications Strong experience with Python, computer vision models and edge device integration (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Coral, etc.) Hands-on experience with OpenCV , YOLO , TensorFlow Lite , or similar frameworks Familiarity with real-time video processing and anomaly detection techniques Ability to translate model output into actionable event detection Strong communication skills and ability to interface with clients Previous experience with IP camera integrations is a plus Show more Show less
