Role Description This is a full-time on-site internship role based in Delhi for a Travel Consultant Intern at Parachute Packages. In this role, you will work closely with our travel operations and sales team to support customers throughout their travel-planning journey. The internship is designed to give you hands-on exposure to the travel and tourism industry, covering customer interaction, itinerary planning, booking coordination, and post-sales support. As a Travel Consultant Intern, your responsibilities will include assisting clients in selecting suitable travel packages, understanding their preferences, and providing recommendations that align with their budget and travel goals. You will help prepare basic itineraries, explain pricing, and communicate inclusions and exclusions clearly to customers. You will also be involved in managing inquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, and emails, ensuring each client receives timely and accurate information. You will be responsible for coordinating with hotels, transport providers, and other travel partners to support the booking process. This includes checking availability, confirming reservations, collecting necessary documents, and ensuring all details are accurately updated in the internal systems. Your role will also include maintaining customer data, tracking follow-ups, and supporting the team with after-sales assistance such as resolving queries or updating customers on booking status. In addition, you will gain exposure to industry workflows such as quotation preparation, understanding package components, competitor research, and basic sales support tasks. You will collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth travel experience for clients, from inquiry to final booking. This role requires attention to detail, a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills in Hindi, and basic proficiency in English.
