Role: Kitchen Champion Objective:To ensure smooth kitchen operations by preparing food items as per SOP, maintaining hygiene, minimizing wastage, and supporting the team in delivering a consistent and delightful customer experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Food Preparation & Quality Control Prepare all dishes (Laphing, Corn Dogs, Rotato Potato, Kimbap, etc.) according to standard recipes and SOP. Maintain high standards of hygiene, taste, presentation, and speed. Assist in mise-en-place (cutting, chopping, portioning) to ensure timely service. 2. Hygiene & Cleanliness Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols (FSSAI standards). Keep kitchen counters, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized. Dispose of waste properly and ensure minimal wastage of ingredients. 3. Stock & Inventory Support Track daily ingredient usage and inform the outlet manager of replenishment needs. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method while using ingredients. Handle kitchen equipment responsibly to avoid damage or wastage. 4. Team Collaboration Work closely with the Sales Manager and other staff to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-end. Support in peak hours by being quick, organized, and reliable. Assist new team members in learning kitchen processes when required. 5. Professionalism & Growth Report to work on time, dressed neatly in uniform and with proper hygiene. Be open to learning new recipes, techniques, and SOPs. Show initiative and interest in growing into senior kitchen or supervisory roles. Requirements:Prior experience in a QSR kitchen or food handling preferred (but not mandatory; training will be provided). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong sense of cleanliness, discipline, and teamwork. Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and peak seasons.
