Job Description

A Palo Alto network security engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls. Key responsibilities include: Installation and Configuration: Setting up Palo Alto security appliances and ensuring they are properly configured to meet security requirements. Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly updating and maintaining security devices, monitoring their performance, and ensuring they are functioning correctly. Troubleshooting: Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages. Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for security installations and providing ongoing service advice. Support: Providing support to other engineers on Palo Alto equipment/software. Qualifications Knowledge and experience in installing and supporting Palo Alto firewalls. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
