Job Description

Key responsibilities

Lead development of Foundry data pipelines, transforms, and workpads to turn raw data into trusted, documented data products.
Design and implement Foundry Ontologies, Object Types, and Data Lineage to ensure discoverability and governance.
Build and maintain code in Foundry's Code Workbook / Transforms using Python, Spark, and Foundry SDKs.
Integrate external data sources and systems with Foundry (APIs, databases, streaming sources).
Collaborate closely with analysts, product owners, and domain experts to translate business requirements into data models, metrics, and applications.
Optimize performance and cost of large-scale data processing jobs and storage within Foundry.
Establish testing, CI/CD, and deployment practices for Foundry code and pipelines.
Instrument, monitor, and troubleshoot production data assets and apps; respond to incidents and implement long-term fixes.
Document solutions, standards, and runbooks; mentor teammates on Foundry best practices.
