Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paint Chemist to join our Laboratory team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be involved in the formulation and testing of the company's emulsions in various water-based paint applications. This role requires an individual with strong technical expertise in chemistry and a passion for the paint industry. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and test water-based paints for both interior and exterior applications. Work with various emulsions to evaluate and improve paint performance. Conduct laboratory-based experiments and analysis on raw materials and final products. Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure the quality and consistency of the paint products. Monitor and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to paint formulations and applications. Prepare detailed reports on testing results, product performance, and recommend improvements. Requirements: Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Chemistry or Paint Technologist. Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in formulating and testing water-based paints for interior and exterior applications. Skills: Strong understanding of paint chemistry, especially water-based emulsions. Experience with laboratory testing, formulation, and evaluation of paints. Ability to work with a wide range of raw materials and chemicals used in paint formulations. Knowledge of paint application techniques and performance standards.
