PACKING SUPERVISOR

The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all packing operations, ensuring timely and accurate order dispatch, coordinating with production and logistics teams, maintaining quality standards, and monitoring workforce efficiency. The role ensures smooth movement of goods from packing to shipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

A. Packing Operations

• Supervise daily packing activities to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Allocate work to packing staff based on order priority.
• Ensure proper packing materials are used as per customer requirements.
• Monitor packing quality to avoid damage, shortages, and non-conformities.
• Maintain packing area cleanliness and safety compliance.

B. Despatch & Shipping

• Coordinate with logistics/transport teams for timely despatch.
• Verify orders with invoices, packing lists, and labels before dispatch.
• Ensure shipments follow customer specifications and delivery timelines.
• Handle documentation for domestic & export shipments.

C. Inventory & Material Handling

• Monitor availability of packing materials; raise requests for replenishment.
• Maintain records of daily packing output and dispatch volumes.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of finished goods before shipment.

D. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with production, QC, warehouse, and marketing departments.
• Record daily activities in Excel/ERP or other company systems.
• Report delays, damages, shortages, or issues to management immediately.

E. Team Management

• Train and guide packing staff on processes and safety.
• Ensure discipline, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,826.31 - ₹20,236.90 per month
