selecting Job Title : Overseas Education Counselor Department : Admissions / Student Services Location : Udaipur, Job Overview : We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Overseas Education Counselor to guide students in their pursuit of higher education abroad. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of international education systems, admission processes, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities. As an Overseas Education Counselor, you will help students make informed decisions regarding their educational journey, from selecting the right program and university to securing the necessary documentation and support for studying abroad. Key Responsibilities : Advise students and parents on studying abroad, including selection of universities, programs, and countries based on their academic and career aspirations. Assist students with researching and identifying suitable overseas universities, understanding their specific admission requirements, and preparing applications. Guide students through the entire application process, including filling out applications, preparing documents (transcripts, recommendation letters, SOPs, etc.), and meeting deadlines. Provide detailed information about visa processes, including visa applications, interview preparation, and documentation requirements. Offer advice and guidance on scholarship opportunities, funding, and financial aid for international education. Stay updated on the latest trends in global education, changes in immigration policies, and developments in student visa regulations. Conduct pre-departure briefings to prepare students for life abroad, covering cultural differences, lifestyle tips, safety, and other important factors. Assist students in choosing the right accommodation and understand health insurance and travel arrangements. Provide continuous support to students throughout their overseas education journey, including addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Collaborate with partner institutions, universities, and embassies to ensure smooth admission processes for students. Organize and conduct webinars, workshops, and informational sessions on studying abroad. Help students with post-arrival support, including adjusting to the new country and educational system. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, applications, and communication with students. Build and maintain relationships with international universities, educational agents, and other stakeholders. Stay well-informed about the educational requirements and visa norms of various countries like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, etc. Promote the companys services by attending education fairs, webinars, and networking events.
