About Job Opportunity @OTSI: Required Details: Designation : System Admin Experience : 5+Years Location : WFO Job Type : FTE Job Location : Hyderabad Job Description: builds, manages and troubleshoots the infrastructure that enables our engineers and developers to make our products and services better. The ideal candidate is well rounded, has a strong background and have 5-7 years of experience in UNIX, Linux administration, storage and some Windows Administration experience is a plus. A working knowledge of TCP/IP networking is required. You should be open to not just maintain existing infrastructure, but also involve themselves into new technologies and methods to help improve HPE. Job Responsibilities : Remotely Manage and maintain install base of HPE hardware HPE DL, Apollo, Synergy servers, 3PAR and Nimble storage arrays Resolve hardware issues and managing support cases for servers and storage arrays Manage lifecycle for operating systems on physical and virtual servers. Install and configure operating systems Manage configurations with Ansible and Puppet Patch operating systems on a maintenance cycle Administer systems supporting the R&D lab infrastructure Linux and Windows VMware ESXi and Vcenter, Kubernetes Veeam Backup and Restore Manage ticket queue, troubleshoot user issues to resolution Fix issues with NFS shares, home directories, access and connectivity among others Open cases and work with OS and software vendors to resolve issues Create and manage users Monitor system health and proactively take action to avoid outages Manage SolarWinds monitoring platform Monitor and mitigate SolarWinds alerts Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities Document technical procedures, create and utilize runbooks, maintain elevation drawings and datacenter maps Required Skills: Linux administration Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu Network troubleshooting experience NFS, Automount, DHCP, DNS, NIS, Samba, TCP/IP, SSH OS network installation VMware vCenter Local, NFS and SAN storage configuration from the OS perspective Linux LVM Scripting in any useful language Bash, Perl, Python, etc. Self-starter and independent worker Preferred Skills: Windows administration Kickstart and Debian network installer Puppet, Ansible, Foreman HPE DL/Apollo servers, C7000 blade enclosures, HPE Synergy HPE 3PAR/Nimble storage HPE Comware network switches TrueNAS Veeam Backup and Restore Let us know your interest to associate with OTSI and also request you to share among your connects if any exploring opportunities.
