.Role & responsibilities

Cash Application & Transaction Processing

• Apply customer payments (Checks, EFTs, Credit Cards) accurately to corresponding accounts using

  SAP ERP

  .
• Utilize

  BillTrust

  or equivalent tools to support automated and manual cash application activities.
• Reconcile incoming payments with bank statements and remittance advice.
  
• Investigate and resolve issues related to unapplied, unidentified, over, or short payments.
  

Order-to-Cash (O2C) Support

• Support the full

  Order-to-Cash (O2C)

  lifecycle to ensure accurate receivables and improve cash flow.
• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding payments and unapplied balances.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams (billing, collections, customer service) for prompt issue resolution.
  

Dispute and Issue Resolution

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve missing remittance or incorrect payment applications.
  
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance requirements.
  
• Ensure correct cash application to minimize unapplied cash and reduce AR aging.
  

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Generate and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on cash application performance and issues.
  
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  
• Adhere to internal controls, standard operating procedures, and audit requirements.
