You will be working as a Picker/Packer in the Last Mile division at Delpack Logistics India Private Limited. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders within a quick commerce delivery station. Your responsibilities will include locating items, picking them from shelves, packaging securely, and preparing them for dispatch within tight timeframes. **Qualification Required:** - High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required) - Basic literacy and numeracy skills - No prior experience required; freshers are welcome to apply **Key Responsibilities:** - **Order Picking:** - Accurately read and understand order details from a mobile device or printed list - Efficiently navigate the station layout to locate items - Quickly and accurately pick specified items from shelves and storage areas - Verify product codes, quantities, and ensure items match the order - Handle products carefully to prevent damage - **Order Packing:** - Securely pack picked items into appropriate bags or containers, ensuring proper protection for transit - Use correct packing materials (e.g., thermal bags for perishables) as per guidelines - Attach labels, receipts, or other necessary documentation to packages - Ensure orders are complete and ready for handoff to delivery riders - **Inventory Handling:** - Assist with basic inventory tasks, such as restocking shelves when new shipments arrive - Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or expired products to the Team Lead/Shift Incharge - Maintain an organized and tidy work area - **Adherence to Standards:** - Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for picking, packing, and safety - Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, especially when handling food items - Adhere to company policies and guidelines - **Physical Demands:** - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods - Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights (typically up to 10-15 kg) - Manual dexterity for picking and packing tasks - **Teamwork & Communication:** - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Communicate clearly with Team Leads/Shift Incharges regarding any issues or concerns - **Speed & Accuracy:** - Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy in order fulfillment - Capable of performing repetitive tasks with precision **Preferred Requirements:** - Prior experience in a retail, warehouse, or e-commerce fulfillment environment - Familiarity with using handheld scanning devices or mobile apps for order processing - Basic understanding of product categories (e.g., groceries, fresh produce) - Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely - Punctual and reliable work ethic You will be based at either Noida in Uttar Pradesh or Gurugram in Haryana.
