Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 3PL EBS 12.2.13 Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version 12.2.13, focusing on Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) , Demand Planning , and Warehouse Management System (WMS) . This role will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and ensuring the effective functioning of these modules in a 3PL environment to support business needs. Key Responsibilities: 1. ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning): Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the ASCP module within Oracle EBS 12.2.13. Design and maintain Master Scheduling , Supply and Demand Planning , and Supply Chain Optimization processes. Ensure capacity planning and resource allocation align with production and inventory needs. Develop and manage supply chain optimization rules to balance demand and supply effectively. Conduct scenario planning and analysis to evaluate potential supply chain adjustments. Integrate ASCP with other Oracle modules such as Inventory , Purchasing , Manufacturing , and Order Management to ensure seamless data flow across systems. 2. Demand Planning: Configure and manage Demand Planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy and support decision-making. Utilize advanced forecasting models to optimize the planning process and minimize demand variability. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop demand forecasts and align them with overall supply chain goals. Manage inventory planning and safety stock levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts. Monitor and adjust demand plans based on market trends, seasonal changes, and other external factors. Integrate demand plans with ASCP to ensure supply and demand alignment. 3. WMS (Warehouse Management System): Lead the configuration, optimization, and implementation of the WMS module within Oracle EBS 12.2.13 to support efficient warehouse operations. Manage warehouse operations including inventory management , order fulfillment , shipping and receiving , and returns . Design and maintain WMS workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution of warehouse tasks. Oversee warehouse layout , bin management , and inventory tracking to ensure optimal space utilization and inventory accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WMS with other supply chain systems and business processes. Ensure that warehouse operations align with overall supply chain goals, improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus. 8+ years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.13, with a focus on ASCP , Demand Planning , and WMS . Proven experience in leading or supporting Oracle EBS 12.2.13 implementations, optimizations, and troubleshooting in a 3PL or related environment. Strong understanding of Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) concepts such as supply chain optimization , capacity planning , and scenario modeling . In-depth knowledge of Demand Planning methodologies and best practices, including statistical forecasting , demand collaboration , and inventory management . Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) configurations and processes. Familiarity with Oracle Inventory , Order Management , Purchasing , and Manufacturing modules. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders. Experience with 3PL processes and understanding the challenges of third-party logistics. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Oracle E-Business Suite or related supply chain management technologies. Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools for data analysis and reporting. Experience with cloud-based or next-gen WMS solutions is a plus. Ability to train and mentor junior team members on best practices and system usage.
