Oracle APEX Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using

  Oracle APEX

  .
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot

  PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers

  , and database objects.
• Build responsive, user-friendly APEX pages, forms, reports, dashboards, and interactive grids.
• Integrate APEX applications with external systems using

  RESTful Web Services, ORDS, JSON, XML

  , etc.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and application optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, roles, and data protection.
• Maintain documentation of technical designs, workflows, and system configurations.
• Support existing applications and provide production issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in

  Oracle APEX (19c/21c/22c or higher)

  .
• Proficiency in

  Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

  .
• Experience with

  Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c

  .
• Knowledge of

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

  , and other web technologies.
• Experience working with

  REST APIs

  , ORDS, and data integration.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  APEX plug-ins

  , dynamic actions, and custom JavaScript components.
• Familiarity with

  version control tools

  (Git, SVN).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of

  BI tools

  (Oracle BI, Power BI) is a plus.
• Exposure to

  cloud environments

  such as Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
