About The Role Job Title Oracle Apps Date Base Administrator About The Role The OracleDataBase Administrator will be part of Enterprise Application team responsiblefor providing support on system monitoring, Patching, Cloning and PerformanceTuning of Application and Database stack of Oracle EBS / Fusion Applications toUS based customers. This position will require to understand and analyze thebusiness problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements andrecommends solutions based on the Oracle EBS/Fusion Architecture that enablethe organization to achieve its goals. This candidate should have the abilityto coordinate, interact and work with different teams for the delivery of thesolution. Responsibilities Productionsupport for all reported issues or change requests for various OracleEnterprise Application Suites & Databases. Maintainand update server documentation and password changes in secret server. Analyze anddocument vulnerabilities at various levels for enterprise systems and worktowards resolutions Design,review and maintain the support, enhancements, project, upgrade processes &tools. DocumentingRoot Cause Analysis for all Critical and Priority 1 issues Work withOracle Support of various issues Maintenanceof application and database servers. Keeping them updated with all the latest patches. Applying Quarterly CPU/PSU patches and following it up with therespective stockholders for validation and downtime etc. in Production Monitoringof oracle Instances and various alerts and following it up with the technicaland Functional team to the closure. Cloning andtaking backups of the instances on a periodic basis as well as on demand. Technicalcode migrations in production Keepinghimself abreast with the new technology and trends HelpingTechnical team on the performance tuning of SQL, PLSQL and Database. Liaise withOracle on the production issues and product bugs Requirements Must haveat least 5 to 8 years of experience as Oracle Applications DataBaseAdministrator Experiencein at least 2 to 3 full cycle upgrades of Oracle Application Suites. Experiencein providing support on 24/7 In-depthexperience in the following o Web logic Application Server Installation and Administration o OracleFusion Middleware Installation and Administration o OracleRDBMS Installation and Administration (including RAC databases) o withOracle, EBS, and other applications including WebLogic, Application Server, SOA Goodexperience in database administration, maintenance of oracle databases andEBS-ERP databases. Goodexperience in writing Unix shell scripts. Expertisein all major versions of technology stack including Database, iAS, Forms,Reports, PL/SQL, Java, Enterprise Manager, SOA, WebLogic and JVM. Hands-onoperational expertise as an Oracle DBA, with technologies such as RAC, SSO,DataGuard, High Availability and Backup/Recovery (RMAN). FusionMiddleware - Advanced understanding of Cloud Applications Foundation, SOA,Business Process Management, Data Integration, Enterprise Performance Management,Identity Management and High Availability aspects of Fusion Middleware EBSApplication and Technology Stack - Performed one or more successful upgradesfor technology stack and applications PerformanceTuning - Advanced performance-tuning skills to review performance reports(ADDM, AWR, &ASH), Application code and SQLs to optimize application runtimes. Would not need to escalate performance issues. Applicationsupport, disk space management with LVM/SAN and responding to Nagios alerts. Knowledgeof identity and access management, MS Azure, SAML, OpenID etc. WebServices - Understand SOA and Web Services configurations as well as theability to design and implement advanced SOA and Web Services Configurations Verbalcommunications both technical speaking and conversational communication.
