Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to manage and maintain our Oracle databases in a production environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c RAC and ASM on Linux, and possess strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. The role requires a proactive approach to database administration, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c databases, including RAC and ASM configurations. Troubleshoot database performance issues and implement necessary optimization techniques. Review and analyze statspack reports to identify potential performance bottlenecks. Perform backup and restore operations for Oracle databases using standard methods and tools. Manage data migration and database export/import tasks as required. Develop and implement database security measures, including user access management. Monitor and ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of Oracle databases. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and database optimization. Essential Skills: Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c RAC and ASM on Linux. Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving database performance issues. Proficient in analyzing and interpreting statspack reports to improve database performance. Expertise in Oracle database backup and recovery procedures. Experience in database export and import (Data Pump, Traditional Export/Import). In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. Optional Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Couchbase. Proficiency in Linux Shell Scripting for automation and system management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Oracle DBA certification(s) is a plus
