Job Description

Proven recent experience of at least 7 years working with Oracle on Linux/Unix
Proven recent experience of at least 5 years of maintaining high-volume Oracle databases in a 24x7 production environment. From the infra and performance tuning POV
Proven recent experience of building, running, and maintaining multiple databases within a Data Guard cluster
Experience configuring and working with ASM
Leads database projects and provides guidance for database design, manages projects within established timelines and budget requirements.
Resolves key infrastructure, cluster automation, and scaling challenges.
Lead the preparation, maintenance, and implementation procedures for disaster recovery with backup, archive, and recovery processes; perform database file restoration, and prepare application security reports.
Design, develop, and manage databases to maximize performance, availability, and security.
Maintain database system security and integrity.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Create and maintain database documentation.
Ensure compliance with database policies, procedures, and standards.
Participate in database design and architecture.
Assist in the development of database strategies and plans.
