Senior Oracle WMS Cloud Consultant

Key Responsibilities

🔹 WMS Expertise & System Optimization

• Serve as the WMS Cloud SME for configuration, functional support, and best practices.
• Optimize features such as cycle counting, replenishment, cartonization, putaway, picking, shipping, task management, and cross-docking.
• Identify underutilized WMS features and recommend strategic enablement.

🔹 Integration & Reconciliation

• Analyze inventory, receipt, and shipment mismatches between

  WMS & Fusion ERP

• Design and maintain PaaS-based reconciliation tools for daily comparisons and resolution.
• Troubleshoot integration sequencing issues, failed APIs, XML payload errors, and message dependencies.

🔹 Operations Support & RCA

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failed/incorrect transactions: PO receipts, putaways, shipment execution, task failures.
• Work with warehouse, finance, and IT teams to standardize discrepancy management processes.
• Advise on best practices such as using WMS as the primary system of record for physical movements.

🔹 Process & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Conduct discovery workshops, configuration walkthroughs, and RCA sessions.
• Document daily monitoring processes, integration flows, and corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for stable operations across multiple DCs/sites.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years

  implementing/supporting Oracle WMS Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of

  Oracle Fusion SCM

  ,

  OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud)

  , and PaaS tools.
• Hands-on expertise in resolving reconciliation issues between WMS & Fusion.
• Deep knowledge of warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment).
• Strong understanding of integration sequencing & dependency (receipt → putaway → inventory updates).
• Ability to lead discovery, RCA, and optimization workshops.

Nice to Have

• Oracle Cloud WMS Certification
• Manufacturing + Work Order integration exposure
• AI/Analytics experience for WMS optimization
• Multi-site / multi-DC implementation experience
