Job Description

Experience : 4+ Years experience
Education : Bachelor’s/master’s degree
Work Location : Chennai, India (Chennai/Remote/Hybrid)

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a techno-functional expert for Oracle Fusion Payroll and Time & Labor modules.
  • Configure, test, and support Payroll and Time & Labor business processes based on client requirements.
  • Work on payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, and time entry rules.
  • Perform technical development activities including HDL, HSDL, BIP Reports, OTBI, and fast formula writing.
  • Manage inbound/outbound interfaces with third-party vendors or systems.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Technical teams for solution design and issue resolution.
  • Support payroll parallel testing, year-end processes, and statutory compliance (India Payroll statutory knowledge preferred).
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Document configurations, test cases, and business processes for end-user support and training.

Required Skills (Must Have) :

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud with a focus on Payroll and Time & Labor modules.
  • Strong understanding of Payroll processing, time calculation rules, absence integration, and retro-pay setup.
  • Proficiency in Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, and BI Publisher Reports.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
  • Good knowledge of Payroll statutory compliances in India (PF, PT, ESIC, TDS, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills :

  • Oracle Cloud HCM Certification in Payroll and/or Time & Labor.
  • Experience working in an implementation, support, or upgrade project environment.
