Freshers with a Masters degree in Optometry are welcome to apply. Job Details: Working Days : 6 days a week (2nd & 4th Saturday and all Sundays off) Working Hours : 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location : New Panvel, Maharashtra Required Candidate Profile: Masters Degree in Optometry Flexibility and adaptability Positive attitude and a strong desire to teach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: 3 Paid Leaves per month Provident Fund (PF) Mediclaim Gratuity Job Description: As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for: Teaching and mentoring M. Optometry students Preparing and delivering lectures, conducting research Evaluating and assessing student work Encouraging personal development through tutorial or pastoral support Invigilating exams and attending staff meetings Engaging in general administration tasks Writing research proposals, papers, and publications Supervising PhD students and research staff Attending and presenting at conferences/seminars Preparing bids for departmental research funding Any other tasks as assigned by the department
