Post:- Optical Store ManagerLocation:-ChandigarhExp - 5 to 7 yrsCTC:- Best in Industry Key Responsibilities: Team Management: · Hire, train, and supervise a team of optical sales associates. · Set sales goals for the team and monitor performance. · Provide ongoing coaching and development to staff. · Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper store coverage. Customer Service: · Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. · Assist customers with selecting appropriate eyewear and contact lenses. · Address customer concerns and complaints promptly. Inventory Management: · Maintain accurate inventory levels of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and optical accessories. · Place orders with vendors to replenish stock as needed. · Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent discrepancies. Sales Operations: · Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets. · Promote new products and services to customers. · Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Operational Management: · Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. · Maintain a clean and organized store environment. · Manage cash handling and register operations. Compliance and Quality Assurance: · Ensure compliance with all applicable optical regulations and industry standards. · Maintain proper documentation for patient records and lens prescriptions. · Monitor quality control procedures for lens dispensing. Professional Development: · Stay informed about the latest advancements in the optical industry. · Attend industry conferences and training seminars to maintain expertise. · Build relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Required Skills and Qualifications:· Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the optical industry.· Thorough understanding of optical products, lens prescriptions, and dispensing procedures.· Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers.· Strong leadership and team management abilities.· Proficiency in inventory management and basic computer skills.· Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
