We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful OPT Recruiter to join our team and play a pivotal role in identifying and placing international students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) into suitable employment opportunities. As an OPT Recruiter, you will work closely with educational institutions, students, and employers to facilitate successful matches, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and fostering positive relationships. Key Responsibilities: 1. Student Engagement: Engage with international students on OPT to understand their career goals, skills, and preferences. Provide guidance on the OPT job search process, resume building, and interview preparation. 2. Client Interaction: Collaborate with employers to comprehend their staffing needs and preferences for OPT candidates. Present qualified OPT candidates to clients, showcasing their skills and eligibility. 3. Networking: Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, career services, and international student organizations. Attend industry events and job fairs to expand the network of potential OPT candidates and employer partners. Qualifications: Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or career counseling, with a focus on OPT candidates. Familiarity with OPT regulations and compliance requirements. Understanding of the U.S. job market and industries that commonly hire OPT candidates. Knowledge of immigration processes related to international students.
