Consultant Ophthalmologist (Comprehensive Ophthalmology)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Ophthalmologist based in New Delhi. The Ophthalmologist will provide comprehensive eye care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions for various ocular conditions. Responsibilities include attending to patient consultations, performing advanced surgeries, working with optometrists and technicians, using laser technologies, and contributing to medical research and community programs. The role also involves mentoring and capacity building for medical and paramedical staff.

• Minimum

  : MBBS + Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (MS / DNB/DOMS ) — or equivalent.

• Preferred

  : Experience of working in high-volume eye care / secondary or tertiary eye hospital.
• Evidence of surgical experience (number of cataract surgeries done) will be an advantage.
• Experience in training or teaching is a plus.
