Operations Specialist

Client: D2C Kids Brand Hiring for a Operations Excellence Specialist to join the team and help us create a fun kids brand. Role Overview: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the brand, specifically related to managing warehouse operations across the entire inbound and outbound supply chain with all stakeholders (Manufacturing factories, logistics partners, packaging, 3rd party warehouses etc) Responsibilities : 1. Manufacturing Liaise with existing vendors for adherence to SLAs, QC standards as well as timely delivery 2. Inbound – Ensure inward receiving of goods with proper quality checks, with proper labelling for safe storage with warehousing partners 3. Warehouse fulfilment– Proper processing of daily orders across marketplace and website, with control over floor productivity and quality assurance 4. Outbound – Manage delivery partners & marketplaces for timely delivery to customers 5. Returns and defect management – Manage and execute SOPs to inspect each return item with clear action steps 6. MIS Reporting – Maintain accurate reports and dashboards across inventory management, order processing, order fulfilment and returns 7. Documentation – Ensure proper invoicing, COD reconciliations and documentation for all shipments and manage payment timelines for all vendors What are we looking for? High levels of diligence and ownership Data oriented and ability to build, iterate and constantly track dashboards for Ops Health Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendors, delivery partners and other stakeholders Passionate about building and growing a brand from scratch Interest in food, some humour and lots of proactiveness, willingness to test, fail and repeat.
