1) Shipment & Documentation Ops

• Create air/ocean shipments (FCL/LCL), assign milestones, track containers/MAWBs.
• Orchestrate docs:

  Invoice, Packing List, HBL/MBL, AWB, COO, Insurance, Form-AI/ARE-1 (as applicable)

  .
• Manage customs touchpoints (coordination around

  ICEGATE, eSANCHIT, DGFT

  , broker updates).

2) Stakeholder Workflow

• Coordinate shipper, consignee,

  CHA

  , transporters, shipping line/airline, CFS/ICD.
• Ensure clean handoffs at

  port/CFS

  , stuffing/de-stuffing updates, and delivery orders.
• Track

  demurrage/detention

  risk; escalate exceptions early.

3) System Usage & Reporting

• Maintain milestone discipline (booking, gate-in, sailing, arrival, delivery).
• Report on

  lead times, compliance, backlog, D/O status, doc completeness

  .
• Capture edge cases to refine templates & checklists.

4) Process & Compliance Improvement

• Standardise

  doc packs

  ; reduce repeats & missing fields.
• Align workflows with

  Incoterms (FOB/CIF/DDP etc.)

  and customer SLAs.
• Train client teams on dashboards, document vaults, and audits.

Experience

• 3–8 years

  in

  freight forwarding/CHA/export-import ops

  (air/ocean).
• Familiar with

  customs processes, CFS/ICD handling, BL/AWB lifecycle

  .

Skills

• Strong documentation accuracy; understands

  HS codes & Incoterms

  .
• Excellent multi-party coordination; software friendly.
