We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director in WM Operations to perform and manage data analysis and automation opportunities, metrics reporting, and risk oversight for self-directed Client Onboarding.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Client Service & Relationship Management, which is responsible for managing internal and external client relationships. What You'll Do In The Role
- Develop and maintain operational metrics, prepare risk and performance reports for senior management, and act as project manager to coordinate process enhancements and defect resolution with Technology and other stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes.
- Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues.
- Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution.
- Drive efficiency initiatives aimed at system enhancements, enabling straight-through processing, and implementing automation through tactical and strategic tools such as AI, UI Path, and Alteryx.
- Design and deliver metrics for productivity reporting, risk-related dashboards, and QA/QC analysis.
- Manage new and existing system enhancements and defect fixes in collaboration with Technology, GFC, and other stakeholders.
What You'll Bring To The Role
- Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, compliance policies, and risk frameworks within the functional area.
- Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model.
- Proven experience in data analytics and modelling, with a track record of leveraging tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and AI-driven solutions for automation and insights.
- Overall experience of 8-10 years with 5-6 years of relevant exp in operations, data analytics, or project management, demonstrating the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
