About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a proven background in export operations within a fabric/textile manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in production coordination, export documentation, international logistics, compliance, and client communication specific to global markets. This role ensures smooth operations from manufacturing to export dispatch while maintaining quality, timelines, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Operational Coordination

  • Oversee daily operations in the fabric manufacturing process (weaving/knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing).
  • Coordinate between production, QC, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure on-time order execution.
  • Review production schedules and ensure capacity planning aligns with export deadlines.
  • Monitor WIP (Work-In-Progress) and track order status from raw material to shipment.

2. Export Operations

  • Manage end-to-end export process including documentation, packaging, labeling, and dispatch.
  • Ensure timely preparation of export documents such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, GSP, LC documentation, and shipping bills.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, and customs officials.
  • Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation and follow-up.
  • Ensure smooth coordination for inspections (SGS, Intertek, Buyer QC etc.).

3. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Maintain optimum inventory levels for yarn, fabric, and finished goods.
  • Track inbound/outbound logistics for timely material availability.
  • Evaluate vendors and negotiate rates for packaging, transport, and export services.

4. Client & Buyer Communication

  • Coordinate with international buyers regarding order status, shipping schedules, and documentation.
  • Address customer concerns related to quality, timelines, or shipment discrepancies.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and overseas clients.

5. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all export shipments meet buyer quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to export regulations, customs rules, and trade compliance norms.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and improve productivity.

6. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor production executives, logistics staff, and documentation teams.
  • Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure seamless cross-functional workflow.
  • Train team on export procedures, documentation, and compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
