Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Pune, India Department: Operations Reports to: Senior Management / Director of Operations Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our IT and IT-enabled services firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage the operations team, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth functioning of all business processes in accordance with organizational goals and customer requirements. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages collaboration, efficiency, and accountability. Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to optimize operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Regularly review processes and propose changes where necessary. Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of IT and IT-enabled services. Resource Planning & Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources to meet business demands, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track the performance of the operations team and provide regular updates to senior management on key performance metrics, including operational efficiency, project timelines, and customer satisfaction. Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies. Budget Management: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining the quality of services. Vendor & Supplier Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring that service agreements are adhered to and costs are controlled. Technology Integration: Work closely with the IT team to ensure that the latest technologies are integrated into operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Training & Development: Oversee the training and development of the operations team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively. Key Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, IT Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the IT or IT-enabled services industry. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL, or similar certifications in project management or operations. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the IT and IT-enabled services industry trends, customer demands, and operational challenges. Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.
