Job titleOperations Manager SupervisorFactory Manager Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Engineer (B. Tech/ Diploma) at Flextrus Corrugated Packaging Boxes India (P) Ltd, located in Kolenchery, Ernakulam. The role involves day-to-day activities and tasks related to factory operations. Responsibilities: Production Planning and Oversight:Supervise and coordinate all phases of plant operations.Prepare operation schedules and ensure production meets quality specifications.Planning and schedule of resources to ensure operation capacity is optimized.Ensure committed orders are delivered to customers at the right time without compromising on any quality standards.Resource Management:Manage operations personnel, including recruitment, training, and evaluation.Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.Quality Control and ISO Implementation:Collaborate with supervisor to establish and execute quality control processes.Ensure required quality standards are followed by all factory members and relevant records and maintained and filed.Lead ISO implementation efforts, ensuring compliance with standards.Cost Efficiency and Improvement:Increase operational effectiveness, reduce machine downtime, and maintain quality parameters.Execute improvement and cost reduction plans.Maintenance and Machinery Health:Ensure factory machineries are in good working order.Ensure factory premises are neat and clean and maintained with high standards.Coordinate maintenance schedules and preventive measures.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with other departments to streamline operations.Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.Product costing and direct expensesProduct costing and quotation submissionTrack and ensure the direct expenses and in line with the budgetCustomer relations and quality follow-upFrequent interaction with all customers for production planning, quality follow-ups and rectification of any concerns reported by customers.Customer visits to build a good rapport and for any technical support or clarifications, whenever required. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Experience:Minimum 2 to 3 years in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO standards.Experience in corrugation packaging industry would be an added advantage.
