Job Description

Operations Executive Motor Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Management:

Handle end-to-end motor claim processing, from claim intimation to settlement.
Coordinate with surveyors, garages, and insurers for timely claim approvals.
Verify claim documents and ensure adherence to company and IRDAI guidelines.
Maintain claims data, track TATs, and generate regular MIS reports.
Support customers and partners with claim-related queries or escalations.

Underwriting & Policy Issuance:

Review proposal forms, risk details, and supporting documents for policy issuance.
Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines set by the insurer.
Coordinate with sales and partner teams for document collection and validation.
Manage issuance of new policies, renewals, and endorsements.

Risk Assessment & Compliance:

Evaluate and analyze risk profiles of vehicles before underwriting.
Identify potential fraudulent or non-compliant cases and escalate appropriately.
Maintain proper documentation and compliance as per regulatory norms.
Collaborate with audit and compliance teams for periodic reviews.

Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably Commerce, Business, or Insurance).
2–5 years of experience in
Motor Insurance Operations
,
Claims
, or
Underwriting
.
Good understanding of
IRDAI regulations
and motor policy processes.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset.
