Job Title: Operational Engineer Location: Bangalore - Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Engineer with hands-on experience in managing large-scale batch job workflows and strong SQL capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operational systems and data workflows. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, manage, and optimize batch job workflows using tools such as Control-M, Airflow, or Autosys. Work with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Cassandra databases to support data operations and query optimization. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of workflows. Utilize AWS services like SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and EKS for system and data operations. Troubleshoot operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement long-term fixes. Develop or enhance automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency. Required Skills: Mandatory Primary Skillsets: SQL ( Postgress/Snowflake/Cassandra) and batch Jobs workflow ( Control-M/Airflow/Autosys ) Mandatory Secondary Skillsets: AWS (SQS, SNS, Dynamo DB, EKS) Good to have Skillsets: Python/Shell Scripting Primary: Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Cassandra Proficient in managing and troubleshooting batch job workflows using Control-M, Airflow, or Autosys Secondary: Experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and EKS Good to Have: Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation and monitoring Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Join us to work in a dynamic environment where you can apply your technical expertise to drive operational excellence!
