Job Description

Job Purpose: We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Ops Analyst to oversee the daily operations, monitoring, and administration of our data platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system health, automating manual processes, investigating data issues, managing incidents, and enhancing platform efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background in AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and various data integration tools. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily health checks and proactive monitoring of the platform to ensure system stability and performance. Analyze and investigate data related issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and provide timely resolutions. Automate manual processes and enhance operational efficiency through scripting and tool integrations. Manage incident response, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution coordination. Estimate effort for enhancements and improvements, collaborating with cross functional teams. Maintain business communications, providing updates on platform status, incidents, and resolutions. Oversee platform administration and maintenance across AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and related technologies. Work with data pipelines and tools like HVR, Stitch, Fivetran, and Terraform to ensure smooth data operations. Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and operational workflows to minimize downtime and enhance performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, HVR, Stitch, Fivetran, and Terraform for data platform management. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve operational issues. Experience in incident management, system monitoring, and automation. Proficiency in scripting (Python, SQL, or Shell) to support automation and data analysis. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.
