Job Description

As an Executive/ Sr. Executive Operations in the Insurance department, your role will involve overseeing day-to-day insurance operations. This includes managing policy issuance, endorsements, claims processing, customer service, and coordinating with underwriters and third-party service providers. Your strong understanding of insurance operations and regulatory compliance will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end policy administration including issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. - Coordinate with internal departments such as underwriting, claims, finance, and compliance. - Collaborate with different insurance SPOCs for servicing. - Monitor and enhance process efficiency and turnaround time (TAT) for operations. - Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines (IRDAI) and company policies. - Address escalated customer queries or operational issues promptly. - Generate and analyze MIS reports to monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement. - Provide training, mentorship, and support to junior team members in process execution. - Engage with third-party administrators (TPAs), agents, and brokers for policy-related processes. - Participate in audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Good knowledge of insurance products in Life, Health, and General insurance. - Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using various insurance company portals. - Working knowledge of Excel, MIS reporting, and operational metrics. - Understanding of regulatory norms pertaining to insurance operations. - Attention to detail and capability to manage high volumes with accuracy. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation/Post-Graduation in any discipline. - Possession of an insurance certification (e.g., Licentiate/Associate from III) will be advantageous. - Minimum 15 years of experience in insurance operations, particularly in life, motor, or health insurance.,
