Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have** Minimum 3 to 8 years of Hands-on OpenShift and containerization technologies Management with Technical Architect Skills. Expertise in Container orchestration. Knowledge of overall IT Architecture, Performance Tunning & High Availability. Expertise in scalability and performance optimization Good-to-Have Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes Bank Domain, Servers, OS RHEL Monitoring tools knowledge. SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 In depth understanding of Kubernetes, docker concepts, architecture, and best practices 2 Proficiency in Redhat OpenShift including installation, configuration, and administration 3 Expertise in Configuring and maintaining OpenShift cluster and deploying based on project requirement. 4 Strong knowledge on Containerization technologies like docker and container runtime 5 OpenShift Infrastructure Management including nodes, networking and storage. 6 Deep understanding of container network, service mesh and network policies within OpenShift/Kubernetes. 7 Expertise in securing containerized applications, implementing RBAC and managing security policies within OpenShift. 8 Experience integrating OpenShift into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. 9 Proficient in implementing monitoring and logging solutions for OpenShift clusters and applications. 10 Ability to design, optimize and scale OpenShift clusters for performance and resource efficiency. 11 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues within OpenShift environments. 12 Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, 13 Upgrades and patching and applying patches to ensure the security and stability of OpenShift. 14 Creating and maintaining documentation for OpenShift configurations, processes and troubleshooting procedures. 15 Collaborating with the development team to understand application requirements. 16 Providing support for deploying and scaling applications on OpenShift. 17 Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability. 18 Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring) 19 Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc. 20 Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts 21 Provides L3 engineering support 22 Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing. 23 Authors/edits system documentation/playbook(s) 24 Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages. 25 May assist experienced team members with the delegation of work packages SN Requirement and skills 1 Minimum 3 - 8 years of Hands-on OpenShift and containerization technologies Management with Technical skills. 2 Expertise in Container orchestration. 3 Knowledge of overall IT Architecture, Performance Tunning & High Availability. 4 Expertise in scalability and performance optimization 5 Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform. 6 Expertise with Kubernetes. 7 Expertise in RedHat Linux administration. 8 Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies. 9 Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform 10 Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops 11 Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Redhat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker,. The highest preference will be given to those candidates with related experience and certification in any or all of these technologies. 12 Demonstrable experience responding to end user helpdesk tickets with excellent customer service. 13 Demonstrable understanding of good backup and recovery practices for container platform. 14 Understand how to follow good ITIL service management practices. 15 Have working knowledge of security methodologies in an enterprise infrastructure 16 Have knowledge of intermediate networking management concepts and client troubleshooting 17 Strong customer-service competencies, oral and written communication, technical documentation, time-management, and project management skills 18 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 19 Excellent change impact analysis skills for break-fixes, upgrades, and patches 20 Maintain systems according to established requirements through testing, implementation, and monitoring through the complete lifecycle of the product or solution 21 Be able to work in a dynamic, highly demanding, and highly visible team while keeping a professional attitude and composure 22 Be able to speak and relay information intelligently to both highly technical administrators and semi-technical personnel from various state agencies, customers, vendors, and other organizations 23 Be able to work effectively alone and within a team environment, demonstrating the ability to make progress across multiple complex assignments at once Show more Show less
