Role & responsibilities Role and Responsibilities Overview: • Emphasis is on providing business insights and managing end to end project delivery • Structure analytical solution to address business objectives and problem solving • Translate stated or implied client needs into researchable hypotheses. • Develop sophisticated analysis plans to test those hypotheses given data and resource availability, time, etc. • Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using various visualization tools • Leverage SAS & Python for streamlining data transformations for effective Business Intelligence • Develop wireframes, mock-ups followed by screen developments of automation tool • Build data validation systems to make data models more robust using SAS & Python • Performing territory analysis & competitor analysis • Automation of various workflows for integrating Python and PBI • Effectively guide the team around problem structuring and use of analytics (tools and techniques) to carry out analysis • Manage day-to-day project operations, serve as the functional and domain expert on the project team to ensure that they meet client expectations • Regular update in an agile setup, gathering user feedback and modifying solutions accordingly • Provide quality oversight on deliverables prepared by the project team before submitting to client Candidate Profile: • Bachelors/Master's degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcomed to apply • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & VBA • Proficient with SAS & Python • Knowledge of SQL preferred • Visualization tools like Qlik, PBI, Tableau preferred • Experience on performing competitor analysis & territory analysis • Insurance Industry knowledge preferred • 3 - 4 years experience, preferably in analytics • Experience of working in dual shore engagement across multiple time zones • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges • Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
