Role & responsibilities Opening for Credit Collection Analyst role for Chennai! Job Title: Account Support (Credit Colection) Experience- 1 -3 years Employment- Contract(Extendable) Location - Chennai- Perungudi Department: Credit & Collections Position Summary: Role- Looking for a Collection Analyst to manage overdue accounts, optimize collections processes, and minimize financial risks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to resolve outstanding debts. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: -Monitor and manage overdue accounts; contact customers to follow up on payments via calls, emails, and letters. -Review account histories and update payment details. Collection Strategies: -Negotiate payment plans and settle overdue balances while adhering to company policies. -Resolve disputes and payment discrepancies promptly. Reporting & Analysis: -Prepare aging reports, Gsheet & Google workplace and track collections metrics. -Analyze payment patterns and recommend improvements to the collection process. Collaboration & Compliance: -Work closely with sales, customer service, and legal teams to resolve complex accounts. -Ensure compliance with AR policies Customer Communication: -Maintain professional and empathetic relationships with customers to ensure timely payments. -Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial software. -6months to 4 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable. -Experience with collection software and cross-departmental communication and collaboration. -Should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify the underlying issues or reasons behind overdue payments.
