Job Description

Position: Onsite Project Manager (Japanese-Speaking)

Location: Hosur

Exp: 5 to 6 years exp

Immediate Joining,

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary onsite liaison between Japanese stakeholders and the local project team.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards in alignment with client expectations.
Facilitate seamless communication between Japanese and local/global teams (interpretation, translation, documentation).
Conduct project planning sessions, define scope, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure adherence to project governance.
Prepare and present regular status reports to clients and internal leadership.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality, etc.) to ensure project success.
Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience (5 -10 years) in project management with onsite client engagement.
PMP/Prince2/Agile certification preferred.
Fluency in Japanese (business-level or higher) and English; additional local language a plus.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multicultural teams and bridge communication across geographies.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and reporting skills.
